9/21: エリザベスタウンのツアー (Tour of Elizabethtown)

High Library at Elizabethtown College

トーマス博士と一緒にエリザベスタウン大学の図書館へ。 トーマス博士は、新しいカートに乗り、段差も苦にせずどんどん走っていきます。 私は自転車で併走しつつ、エリザベスタウンの素敵な町並みを楽しみました。 最初に、アナバプテストヤングセンターに立ち寄りました。 このセンターは、 アナバプティストやメノナイトの伝統に関連する学術的な歴史的・神学的研究を行なう拠点です。 エリザベスタウン大学の敷地のすぐ向かいにあります。 次に、エリザベスタウン大学図書館に行き、 図書館員さんに聞いて、自分の名前を登録していただきました。 この図書館も、勉強するために良い場所になります。 最後に、地元のダウンタウンにある喫茶店に行きました。ここは最高です。 店の名前は：フォークロアです。快適で、長時間滞在できて、勉強の場になりそうです。 お店には無料のインターネットがあり、朝から夜までコーヒーやランチを買うことができます。


Today, I went to Elizabethtown College with Dr. Thomas. We first stopped at the Young Center for Anabaptist and Pietist Studies. The center does serious historical and theological work related to Anabaptist and Piestist traditions. After that, we went to the college library and registered my name with the librarian. It will be a good place to study. Finally, we went downtown to visit a local coffee shop. The name of the shop is: Folklore. It is a comfortable place and will give me another venue for studying. They have free internet, and I can buy coffee or lunch.
